1 of only 3,761 IROC convertibles built in 1988 makes this a rare and collectible muscle car. These IROC-Z Camaros have been going up in value in recent years and make a solid investment. That is especially true when they are as rare as this car. The RPO sticker is still in place and shows the Z28 code for the IROC package, as the Z28 package was eliminated for 1988.
The exterior has been repainted to its original Bright Red, which is paired with a Black convertible top, IROC alloy wheels, and of course the IROC decals, striping, hood louvers, blacked out headlight buckets, and rear spoiler. This car is pure 1980s muscle and is sure to turn heads and drop jaws!
Inside it is incredibly clean with gray and black cloth bucket seats, tilt steering, power windows, power locks, power hatch release, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD player in the dash. The 4-speed automatic transmission is controlled through the floor mounted shifter in the center console.
Under the hood is a 5.7-liter, 350 CID V8 engine with a polished intake, Quick Fuel Technologies carburetor, HEI distributor with clear cap, and full-length headers running to dual exhaust with a Dynomax muffler. That provides this Camaro with a fantastic rumble! Power steering and power brakes make it easy to handle, and cold A/C makes it comfortable all year round! The 350 V8 engine is said to have about 25,000 miles since it was installed, and it runs out fantastic.
