1971 Chevy Camaro RS Restomod, 5.3 lt. V8 LS Motor, AC, PS, PB, Pure Muscle Car!
Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos, information and a video. We are very happy to offer this 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport. This beautiful RS Camaro has been fully restored and is wearing a stunning and unique Cottonwood Green paint with Black Rally stripes. Front and rear spoilers finish off the classic muscle car look from every angle. The paint code is 42, which is correct for Cottonwood Green.
This is a real Rally Sport and has the desirable Split-Bumper front end, front and rear spoilers and Rocket Racing wheels wrapped with Firestone Firehawk tires. Only about 10% of Camaros made in 1971 received the Rally Sport package. This Camaro is what most people envision when they think of a Second-Generation Camaro. She is built for speed and damn hot looking to Impress even the worst of critics.
Inside is pure muscle car with Black vinyl bucket seats, Dakota digital gauges, center console and horseshoe shifter. A modern Kenwood AM/FM/Bluetooth radio has been installed and metal accents are placed through out the interior. With six speakers under the deck lid you can crank the music up and jam out to your favorite tunes. The seat belts and remote sport side mirrors are a nice touch as your waving goodbye to the competition, leaving them in your dust.
Let's get to the meat, which is the 5.3 liter V8 LS engine rebuilt and topped with a LS6 intake, Brian Tooley Racing stage 2 camshaft, lifters and valvesprings.. The engine runs strong and is backed by a Corvette style 4L60 4-Speed automatic transmission sporting a FTI 3200 stall torque converter. Putting all the power down is the famous 8.5" 10 bolt rear end housing a set of 3:23 gears making this car sing on the highway. A new Borgeson 12:1 ratio power steering box along with power front drilled and slotted disc brakes make this a great cruiser, tight in the turns and ready for the long hauls. The combination of that transmission and gear ratio means she is at home at highway speeds and won't break the bank at the gas pump. The second generation Camaro was produced from 1970-1982, but the first few years from 1970-1973 are the most desirable of the bunch. Other upgrades on this Camaro include: Hotchkis subframe connectors, larger sway bars, adjustable coil over shocks, and Wilwood front calipers. The engine rumbles through a set of ceramic headers and dual exhaust that runs to Flowmaster mufflers and then exits out the rear with chrome tips.
