The one year only 1991 Nissan Figaro imported to the US and featured with Jerry Seinfeld on "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." This example has just 50,707 KM, or 31,507 miles, making it one of the lowest mileage examples we can find.

Nissan created the Figaro in 1991 and only produced it for one year. Created for the Japanese market to be another option in addition to the kei-car segment, just a tab larger and a bit more power than this segment allows. While most kei-cars were boring econoboxes, the Nissan Figaro being a completely different vehicle was an excellent alternative to the small car class. It was designed to have fun while driving to your next destination. Nissan made it for the customers who didn't want to drive boring cars. It is a 4-cylinder turbo that could fit in the kei-car regulations and created a culture.

The 1991 Nissan Figaro is a 2-door convertible/cabriolet-bodied car with an inline 4-cylinder turbo motor powering the front wheels. Its 1.0-liter engine is peppy with a single overhead camshaft. The 4-cylinder unit develops 76hp at 6000 rpm. The engine transfers its power through to the front wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan Figaro weighs a claimed 1786 lbs and is able to attain a top speed of 103 mph making it cute and nimble.

This Nissan Figaro is not just about fuel economy but also has all the comfort features you would expect in a car from today. First let's start with the manual convertible top. Easily put it down and you have endless nights of fun adventures. It has AC, leather seats, power windows, power assist brakes, AM/FM/CD/Cassette player, and intermittent wipers. This one also has rare Tokyo plaques on the sides, which we haven't seen on many others. The color is Lapis Gray, which looks fantastic on this Figaro!

This Figaro has had a lot of maintenance work done by The Figaro Shop with receipts for a coilover suspension system from GAZ, A/C converted to R134A, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil change, all new silicone hoses with jubilee clips, replace antifreeze, new exhaust gaskets, replace rear silencer, new battery, water pump, belt tensioner, oil seals, engine mount, new poly bushings, recondition steering rack, replace CV boots, dash refinishing, refurbish roof trims, door panel trim, center console, and lower panel trim, speaker grills, reseal roof, cold start / idle valve, cam timing belt, brakes all around, wheel cylinders, and more.

The underside was also cleaned, scrubbed, pressure washed, and waxoyl applied to full underbody including all cavitities, inner sills, doors, and box sections. It also comes with all importing paperwork and an owner's manual. ACTUAL VIN does not have the seven 0s at the beginning.
