This beauty won't last long! Powered by a Pontiac 400 CID V8 with a 4-speed manual behind it, t-tops, Bandit colors, and documented actual mileage of 71,643! This is a collector's dream!
The engine has been rebuilt and received an Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, March serpentine belt system, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and an HEI distributor sending spark through MSD plug wires. Dual exhaust with small mufflers let this baby breathe, and she sounds awesome!
The exterior is painted in black with the gold bird on the hood and gold pinstripes. That is matched with color keyed Pontiac snowflake wheels and raised white letter radial tires. Front and rear spoilers are a must on these cars, and it has them!
The t-tops come with bags to store them nicely in the trunk, and a car cover is also included. The interior is very clean and mostly original. An AM/FM/CD player has been added along with some extra gauges, and a Hurst shifter!
This Trans Am is also nicely optioned with power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, and the start of an A/C system. The car was a factory A/C vehicle and has a new compressor added as part of the March serpentine belt system. It still needs lines at least to finish it off.
There are a few spots on the body/paint that could be improved to take it to the next level, but overall this is a very clean, good running and driving, rare example that is worth the small investment to take it to that next level.
