C-Code 289, A/C, front disc brakes, Pony interior. Black on Black! Super clean.

Black on Black looks great on anything, and that is certainly true for this 1965 Ford Mustang coupe! The Black exterior is in incredible condition with a deep black paint and high gloss finish. A Shelby style hood scoop and black wheels really take it over the top!
This is a real C-Code 289 V8 car from the factory! It is NOT a 6-cylinder that has been converted. That 289 powerhouse has some bolt on goodies that add a little pep to its step, along with electric cutouts on the exhaust if you really want to rumble!
With a binder full of documentation, and a reproduction window sticker, this Mustang is very well documented. Front disc brakes, Rally Pac gauges, cold blowing A/C, and a Pony interior have been added to really make this Mustang stand out.
Newer parts include: front disc brakes, wheel bearings, new A/C system, aluminum radiator with overflow canister, 16” electric fan, Pertronix electronic distributor module, professionally rebuilt original transmission (3,000 miles ago), new torque converter, Holley carburetor with electric choke, water pump, thermostat and housing, fuel pump, fuel filter, 100 amp alternator, starter, battery, dual exhaust system with Granelli cutouts, dual bowl master cylinder, rear brake metering valve, 1 1/8” heavy duty sway bar, front stabilizer links, entire interior, alarm system with remote door locks, speedometer, speedometer cable, gas tank, sending unit, shocks, leaf spring shackles, steering wheel, Rally Pac gauges, power steering pump and hydraulic hoses, master and slave power steering cylinders, grill mounted GT style fog lights, Blaster 2 ignition coil, windshield wiper motor, dash light switch, vent windows and chrome trim, fuse panel, LED dash bulbs, under dash gauges, digital tachometer and vacuum gauge under the hood, kick panels, window regulators, window bushings, window rollers, engine dress up kit, inside and outside door handles and window cranks, side mirror, rear view mirror, radio antenna, horns and assembly, trunk lock and bezel, brake switch, LED taillights, parking brake handle, belts, hoses, plugs, tune up, hood scoop, and more!
The engine was rebuilt with TRW .030 flat top pistons, Comp Cams High Energy cam 268/475, Meling high volume oil pump, crank turned .010 over. The rebuilt transmission received new steels and clutches, new converter, new modulator, new filter and fluid.
This car has a well-documented history back to the original owner. Receipts, history, copies of prior titles, etc. go to the new owner along with a car cover. In the nicely finished off trunk you will see a welcomed surprise of a matching full-size spare tire and wheel. The owner also recently put this car on a lift and cleaned/scraped the underside to remove any dirt and grime, old undercoating, etc. and then painted the car in a rust proofing black. So the underside is also ready to show, just like the rest of the car! This is a garage kept, very well cared for first-generation Mustang! There aren't too many this nice and clean out there, especially with power steering, front disc brakes, and cold A/C!
