1973 is a one year car with a chrome rear bumper and the new poly front end. They are becoming highly collectible for that reason and this Slate Blue example is sure to go fast!
The one complaint about the 1973 Corvette would be the decreased horsepower of the 350. Well, this one takes care of that with a ZZ4 Crate 350! Backed by the factory 4-speed manual transmission, this Corvette is what should have rolled off the assembly line!
The Slate Blue exterior is paired with rally wheels and raised white letter radial tires. The interior is a nice dark blue with a Hurst shifter, and some aftermarket gauges under the hood. A manual choke has been added under the dash for those cool mornings as well.
Under the hood shows well, and that 350 sounds even better than it looks! Turn the key and hear this small block roar to life through dual exhaust. Power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes make this Vette a thrill to drive! Pop off the t-tops, roll down the windows and hit the road for an open air feel while you listen to the factory AM/FM radio or that muscle car exhaust note.
1973 had a lot of changes that made it a nicer drive than the prior years. Those included updated body mounts to eliminate road chatter, coolant overflow reservoir, additional sound deadening material in several locations, a new hood with cold air induction, and 1973 was the first year for radial tires on a Corvette! Also, the rear storage area is slightly larger in a 1973.
