Cool, custom, classic, hot rod, street rod, rat rod …. These are all terms that could be used to describe this 1929 Chevrolet Pickup that just arrived! This super cool custom build is titled as a 1929 Chevrolet and has a killer look! Red accents on suspension pieces, the firewall, and frame really pop against that black paint job.
Matte Black paint is topped off with large American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, and black bumpers. A 327CID V8 engine has been installed, backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission for long hauls and highway cruising. That power runs to a 12-bolt with 3.55 posi gears and c-clip eliminator. The engine is nicely dressed and ready to show! Headers running to dual exhaust give this truck a pure hot rod sound that will turn heads at every show you pull into. The engine is built with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake, billet HEI distributor, ceramic coated shorty headers, chrome alternator, and an aluminum radiator with chrome electric fan to keep it cool. Chevrolet script valve covers and a matching dual intake air cleaner look great and dress up this 327 for shows!
To make this little pickup fun and easy to drive, 4-wheel disc brakes have been installed along with rack and pinion steering on a Mustang II front end! Vintage A/C keeps you cool on those hot summer nights, and a new wiring harness means you have no gremlins to chase down. QA1 adjustable coil overs on the rear provide a nice ride!
A tilt steering column make sliding in and out of the black vinyl bucket seats a breeze, and allows you to fully appreciate the custom interior. The star of that interior is a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda dash! All gauges, lights, and horn work as they should. A battery cutoff has been installed to keep the battery from draining, and to act as a theft deterrent. Belt buckles have been used on the inside of the tailgate to latch it, which lets the outside have a smooth look. There is a diamond plate floor in the bed which covers the battery, and a fuel cell sits in the bed as well.
