Looking for a hard to find VW in the states? How about this rare and nice 1977 Volkswagen Brasilia with a clean Florida title? The hard work of importing is already done!
The Brasilia was made from 1974-1982 to replace the Beetle in the Brazilian markets, it utilizes a Beetle air-cooled 1,600 CC dual carbureted engine, a Karmann Ghia chassis, and styling similar to the VW 412. Volkswagen designated this design the 321, but the name Brasilia stuck.
These were offered in 2-door and 4-door models with a hatchback giving access to the rear mounted engine. This is a 2-door and features bucket seats in the front, a bench seat in the rear, and a 4-speed manual on the floor. The engine is a 1,600 CC 4-cylinder with dual carburetors that is a fuel sipper. Beginning with model year 1977, the Brasília featured dual circuit brakes, front disc brakes, and a collapsible steering wheel modified for collision safety. This example is painted in a nice color VW called Marfil, which is Spanish for Ivory. The interior is incredibly clean and shows well in a lovely Ginger color that consists of cloth and vinyl. The engine compartment is clean and simple with a nice metal cover.
This Brasilia comes with the original owner's manual, clean Florida title, and matching VINs in both factory locations. Stand out at the next VW show with this clean Brasilia!
