1971 IH 1210 Custom Travelette

The Travelette, as IH called it, is a full-size pickup and this one has seating for six. Very well optioned for the day with A/C (needs charged), power steering, power brakes, AM radio, dual fuel tanks, cloth and vinyl seats, seat belts, radial tires, hub caps, Deluxe interior package, Deluxe exterior package and more! This truck is very original with only one repaint a long time ago. The interior is original except for brand new carpet. This was a California truck and still has a clear California title! It then came straight to Florida where a restoration shop was going to do a custom Duramax build with the body, but ran out of time. We bought the truck and have been using it as a shop truck and taking it to local car shows. It runs and drives great and has a lot of new parts to make sure it is dependable for the next owner. New parts within the last few months include: tires, battery, battery cables, alternator, starter, voltage regulator, wiper blades, fuel system, oil pressure sender, temperature sender, speedometer cable, fuel filter, oil change with filter and full carpet set. Under the hood is the IH 345 CID V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. We recently took this truck on a trip over 300 miles long and it performed flawlessly! Every gauge and all light work, as do the wipers, lighter, blower motor and original AM radio. The horn is the only electronic not working on the whole truck! We also have the original Line Order Sheet which shows where the truck was built, what options it received and where it was shipped when new. The paint on the interior including the dash, doors and door panels is original as well. The original color was called Yuma Yellow. The repaint of the outside of the truck is an off white, but is not too far off from the original paint color. This truck has great patina and always stands out at shows. Most people have never even heard of a crew cab IH, much less seen one in person.
