This well-kept Porsche 944 is no exception with its clearly drawn lines and softly rounded surfaces. It's a rare case when we get a one-owner, original title vehicle and this is one of them. Finished off in the factory color coded LY 7U, this Slate Gray Metallic exterior shines well in the sun. Boasting a 2.5L inline-4, the Porsche 944 was ahead of its time. The water-cooled heart yields out 143 horsepower @ 5500rpm and 137 torque at 3000rpm all the way through the powerband. Engineers designed this motor to have the tightest piston and cylinder wall tolerances to have minimal leak down with lower emissions and less noise. This design is further enhanced by the DME (Digital Motor Electronic) system which encompasses the digital ignition system already in place by Porsche to provide exceptionally reliable cold and warm starting. All of this mated to a 5-speed manual transmission ensures the driving capacity to put a smile on your soul.

Between the 1985 and 1986 models is the 1985.5. The 1985.5 model is titled as a '85 MY but gained some significant upgrades including: a redesigned dashboard, A-arms, rear trailing arms, spindles, transmission and mounts, seats and seat bolt patterns, belly pans, steering wheel height adjustment, and a fan thermometer switch. The interior is in good overall shape with no rips or tears to the seats. Common complaints to the interior on the 944 are cracked dashboards which helped once revised in the '85.5MY and proves true with this one. Beige interior compliments the Slate Gray Metallic with options including PB, PS, PL, PW, AC, AM/FM/Cassette radio, courtesy lights, bucket seats, power sunroof, power hatch release, power seat, rear fold down seats. This car recently had some maintenance including a new battery, fuel tank dropped and cleaned, fuel lines cleaned, new fuel filter, and an oil change.
