All Steel including Fenders! 383 Stroker! A/C, Power 4-wheel disc brakes, auto!
Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos, information, and a video. This vehicle is available for viewing by appointment only. Please call us to schedule an appointment. This 1931 Ford 5-window street rod is incredible! You could literally eat off the underside, and there is more chrome and billet on this car than a Speedway catalog! This is a real steel 5-window that has been owned by the same couple for the last 18 years.
The exterior is painted in a very unique Cream and Chocolate Brown that is classic and rich. That paint scheme is paired with Eagle Alloy wheels, large headlights on a chrome bar, and a rumble seat! The Flying Quail radiator cap is gorgeous and really shows how much thought and time were put into cars back in the day.
Under the hood is anything but stock, with a Chevrolet 383 Stroker with aluminum heads, air gap intake, Edelbrock carburetor, big cam, ceramic coated shorty headers, and an HEI ignition. There are so many chrome and polished parts under the hood you won't be able to keep people away at a car show. The valve covers and air cleaner are polished, along with the spark plug wire looms, A/C bracket, pullies, starter, intake, and more. The alternator and A/C compressor are chrome, and every line and hose under the hood is braided! An electric fan keeps the engine cool along with a nice polished radiator overflow.
Under the car is just as nice as the exterior! Everything is painted, polished, or chrome. The front end is a tubular drop axle which is chrome, of course. It has an inverted leaf springs, chrome shocks, chrome 4-link, and Wilwood disc brakes! The transmission inspection cover is chrome. The transmission pan is polished on the Turbo 400 transmission, and that runs out back to a Currie rear end with polished center section. The rear end also has disc brakes with billet calipers. True dual exhaust rumble from the headers out through black exhaust tips exiting the rear of the car. The power brakes are frame mounted under the car and the brake booster and master cylinder are chrome as well. The soft parts of the brake lines are also braided lines. Coil over adjustable shocks in the rear give you the ability to adjust the ride to your liking.
Inside the cab, and the rumble seat are upholstered in a very rich two-tone of burgundy and beige with a wood dash, Classic Industries gauges, a chrome tilt steering column, Grant GT steering wheel, billet power window switches, and a Lokar shifter. The cab and rumble seat area have had Dynamat installed to help with road noise and heat. There are charging posts under the car as well in case the battery ever needs to be jumped or charged, since it it tough to get to. A battery kill switch is hidden between the seats for security at shows and to keep the battery from draining when the car is in storage. Again, this 31 Ford is ALL STEEL including the fenders and is loaded with 4-wheel disc brakes, A/C, radial tires, allow wheels, tilt steering column, power windows, and vinyl covered bucket seats!
