Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos, information and a video. Who doesn't love a 50's Chevy? This big block 1955 is a cool as they come with its Pearl Orange Metallic Paint, paired with classic white. This is a REAL Bel Air, that left the factory with a V8. The “VC” to start the VIN confirms this fact.
Currently it sports a built 496 cubic inch big block with an Edelbrock intake, Demon carburetor, MSD 6AL ignition box, MSD coil, MSD plug wires and MSD distributor for a sure spark every time. The exhaust flows through full-length headers to dual exhaust with turbo mufflers for a healthy rumble. A Champion aluminum radiator keeps it all cool! That powerful engine is mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a B&M shifter on the floor between the bucket seats.
Black bucket seats provide the seating. The black vinyl interior looks great and is comfortable while you face the classic Bel Air dash with a few more extra gauges than it left the factory with. A tilt steering column looks great and makes this car easy for anyone to slide in and out of. Power steering and front disc brakes make this Bel Air fun to drive and keep all that horsepower in check. The rear end is held in place with a beefy ladder bar setup with adjustable coil-over shocks. Finishing off the exterior are chrome American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with a deep lip on the rears for a modern and bad ass look!
New glass and new seals have also been added, so this beautiful Tri-Five is ready to cruise and show. Looking for a restomod Bel Air? Crave big block power, but want room to seat 4 adults? Check out this 1955 Chevy Bel Air with big block power, killer good looks, and one heck of a cool paint job!
