In the war of the muscle Trucks, there weren't any with the brawn of the 454 SS! People will know you have arrived by the rumble of the 7.4 liter V8 and 454 badging and are here for business. These beasts were direct competition for the Ford Lightning and easily outgunned the Lightning in cubic inches! Muscle cars and trucks are all about shoehorning the biggest engine engine possible into the lightest vehicle it will fit. This truck follows that formula to a T. Chevrolet put its biggest engine, the 454 CID V8 into a half ton regular cab short bed 2WD pickup to make a burnout monster. Chromed valve covers, chrome air filter cover, and carburetor spacer are unique to this 454 SS. The custom tail gate and rear roll pan with corvette style tail lights add to it uniqueness. The alloy wheels, square body lines, fog lamps, and fiberglass cowl hood gives you an aggressive profile. Chevy followed it up with a power train that completes its aggressive stance, by adding a 454 CID V8 and 3 speed automatic transmission that shifts smooth and quickly through the gears. Locking 3.73 differential, heavy duty radiator, and transmission cooler only add to the appeal of this muscle truck. This street beast has all the goodies; AC, PS, PB, PL, PW, tilt wheel, spilt rear window, intermittent wipers, auxiliary lights, tinted glass, and two very comfortable high back bucket seats. The interior is Garnet Red Cloth bucket seats with center console. Additionally this 454 comes with the Performance Handling Package, Sport Appearance Package and bed liner.
