1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 tribute that gives a tip of the hat to Parnelli Jones and his 1970 Boss 302. The names and numbers are vinyl graphics and can easily be removed if theyre not to your liking. This Mustang started life as a fastback (Sportsroof) with a 302 under the hood, and the current owner decided to transform it in both looks and performance to more closely resemble the Boss 302 variety. The 302 engine has been beefed up with a cam, full length headers, aluminum intake with Holley 4-barrel carburetor and an MSD ignition system for a reliable and strong spark. The quick revving small block is then mated to a 4-speed manual transmission that gives you the control and the thrill of banging through the gears. That leads back to the legendary Ford 9 rear end with traction bars to make sure you get a good jump off the line. The exterior is finished in bright Yellow with the reflective Boss 302 stripes and Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger G/T white letter radial tires. The car is topped off with front and rear spoilers and louvers on the back window. The dual exhaust tips exiting the rear have an undeniable muscle car sound thanks to the full-length headers running to dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Inside high back bucket seats have been installed along with a Hurst shifter. An AM/FM/Cassette player cranks out your favorite 70s tunes while you grip the woodgrain 3-spoke steering wheel with a column mounted tachometer.
