1968 Ford Mustang 2+2

Take a look at this 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2! This is a fully restored example of one of the most sought-after muscle cars of all time. The 1967 and 1968 Mustangs have been popular forever and movies like Bullitt and Gone in 60 Seconds have only increased their appeal. This Mustang had a full restoration completed in 2018 with only 4,000 miles since completion. It has a killer color combination of Mercedes Black with a Titanium Gray accent stripes. Those stripes and the hood scoop are in honor of the 1968 R-Code Mustangs, and they look great. Chrome 17 Cragar wheels and a billet grill give it a touch of modern appeal and tie the whole car together nicely. Under the hood lurks a 351 Cleveland that is freshly rebuilt and has Keith Black pistons, a .040 overbore, large Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock intake with Quick Fuel 750 double pumper 4-barrel carburetor, high flow fuel pump and headers. This 351 makes plenty of power and has a great muscle car rumble from the dual exhaust. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also freshly rebuilt and has a shift kit and a 3,000 stall converter. That power is routed out back where 3.80 gears send it to the radial tires. All the suspension and brakes have been restored with some upgrades such as Wilwood front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, new master cylinder, all new brake lines, new 5-leaf rear springs, all new shocks, new progressive springs with roller perches, new fuel tank and sending unit and all new fuel lines. The Cobra Jet hood scoop is functional feeding the engine plenty of fresh air. If youre expecting rain, there is a block off plate that can be added on with two nuts. The interior is fully restored with the comfort weave bucket seats and the deluxe interior option. The glass is all new and is tinted to keep the interior nice and cool. For safe night driving all lights have been converted to LED including halo headlights. A 1968 sales brochure and owners manual come with the vehicle.
