PHS Docs! 400 V8, Hurst 4-speed, A/C, PS, PB, power top! Rotisserie Restored!
Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos, information, and a video. This vehicle is available for viewing by appointment only. Please call us to schedule an appointment. With PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) documents and photo documentation of the rotisserie restoration, this 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible may just be the nicest G.O.A.T that we've had the pleasure of sharing with you!
This GTO has gone through a well-documented frame-off rotisserie restoration, this is one of the most beautiful A-body's we have laid our eyes on! Finished in Pontiac's gorgeous Signet Gold which was the factory color this Goat rolled out with as shown on the copy of the build sheet. It also left the factory with the HO, High Output 360 horsepower 400 CID V8 engine! The Rally II wheels are wrapped with Redline tires and a correct jack and spare rest in the trunk.
The real gem lies under the hood! The 400 CID V8 has been professionally rebuilt with the top of the engine, intake, high output exhaust manifolds, 670 cylinder heads, and water pump all factory correct. The carburetor has been restored to factory specs with correct jets and metering rods by Cliffs High Performance. An Aluminized exhaust system sings the harmony of the 6.5L. Out back, a 3.55:1 Posi-trac rear end puts the power down while shifting happens through a 4-speed M20 wide ratio transmission. Documentation shows the GTO left the factory with power steering and power front disc brakes.
The interior represents the condition of the GTO just as well as the exterior. Correct coded black bucket seats and the original center console present the driver and passenger to the Rally gauge cluster with a tachometer. The factory push button AM radio has been converted to AM/FM stereo internally with an auxiliary input. A power rear antenna and power convertible top are operated by switches that rest under the top of the dash. Other options include a tilt steering wheel, T3 headlamps, soft ray tinted glass, LED interior and tail lights, and under hood and trunk lights.
