Check out this super sweet short bed patina truck! This truck is wearing its original Grabber Blue Paint with real patina, and hand pinstriping. The truck was clear coated to protect this perfect look for years to come! The only non-original paint is on the lower doors where the prior owner had their shop logo, which they sanded off before selling the truck. The lower doors were repainted in the correct Grabber Blue, given a bit of character, and clear coated to match the rest of the truck.
Pop the doors and you will be very impressed with the new interior! Brand new Black carpet, a recently reupholstered bench seat in Dark Blue cloth and vinyl, new dash pad, and great looking two-tone Blue door panels! The dash and gauges are in great shape as well! The windshield is new along with the weatherstripping, front disc brakes, oil change, tune up, and brand new (Less than 1 mile driven) 18” American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels with BRAND NEW radial tires all around. Just the tires and wheels were about $2,000 as they were custom made for the factory 5x5.5 lug pattern.
The metal door VIN tag and sticker are still in place and show that this truck left the factory with a 302 under the hood and a 3-speed manual transmission. Those are still in place, meaning this truck has plenty of get up and go! The 302 CID V8 sounds fantastic with a great rumble. An aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor have been added, along with an aluminum radiator to keep the engine cool. The VIN tag also lets us know this truck left the factory as a short bed! This is NOT a long bed truck that someone cut up. This is a real deal short bed from the factory!
This truck runs and drives out very well and gets thumbs up and comments everywhere it goes! No one can resist that Grabber Blue paint with modern wheels, and real patina that makes this a perfect around town cruiser or put your business name on the doors and write the truck off! Inside the bed looks cool and is very usable, but could be taken to the next level with a color match spray in bedliner if you want to protect it, give it a cool look, and make the truck a little cleaner.
